Personal vs Organization Workspace
Datavine supports two workspace types. Choose based on whether you're working alone or with a team.

Switching workspaces
Use the workspace selector at the top of the left sidebar. If you belong to one or more organizations, they'll appear in the dropdown. You can switch freely — your personal workspace is always available.
Organization roles
Organizations use a four-tier role hierarchy. Roles are assigned per-member when inviting.

| Owner | Everything — billing, delete org, all admin actions |
| Admin | Manage members, teams, permissions, all data features |
| Member | Read/write queries, dashboards, data features, collaboration |
| Viewer | Read-only access to dashboards and shared queries |
Creating an organization
During onboarding, choose Organization workspace to create one. After creating an organization, invite teammates via Settings → Members → Invite or from the Admin section.
Some features are organization-only: Issue Boards, Documentation, Activity Feed, AI Pipeline Agent, and team-level query sharing. These require at least one organization.
